When I first installed my static line it was a thing of beauty. The T was just in the right place to feed the poly-flow tubing down the longeron, the vinyl tubing wraped around the bulkhead just perfectly and all was wonderful. That is until I realized that I had a water trap on the left side. The tubing should go up when entering the airplane so that if any water gets into the static port it will drain back out. Well I had to go in and fix it.
